Welcome to "We'll Believe In Anything"!We're a fan-run, charity-supporting zine dedicated to the show, Heated Rivalry by Jacob Tierney, as well as its source material, Game Changer and Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid.This fanzine will focus on all characters, including but not limited to: Shane Hollander, Ilya Rozanov, Scott Hunter, Christopher "Kip" Grady, Svetlana Vetrova, and Rose Landry.This zine will include a physical and digital SFW zine, with a digital NSFW zine. Physical and digital add-on merchandise will be considered following the interest check. All proceeds of this project will be split and donated to Rainbow Railroad and Palestine Children's Relief Fund.The mods have decided this following consideration of current shipping laws as well as encouraging options.To participate in this project, you must be 18-years old.NO AI USE WILL BE PERMITTED.

Contributor Guidelines
Writers will be expected to write a complete story between 500 and 5,000 words. All ratings are welcome, with some content restrictions.Artists will be expected to create a minimum of 1 fully rendered single page art piece. All art pieces must be your own original work. No use of AI or tracing other artists’ work is allowed at any stage of the creation process.We accept digital and traditional illustrations, as well as collages/edits as long as they are a distinct and original piece (think not just a screenshot with words).Collaboration between artists and writers is allowed as well. This could be an art piece as an intro to a fic, with illustrated page breaks and borders/footnotes/additional elements.If you need any help, a mod will be there to assist you!

Q: What is a zine?
A zine, short for the combo of fan and magazine, is a self-published work.

A: Historically, SFW has meant content that is “not risky” to be viewed in public.For writing, consider the AO3 rating system, SFW would include G-rated works, and T-rated works, while M-rated and E-rated works are more NSFW.For SFW art consider non explicit nudity, and use the source material as a frame of reference. For NSFW, explicit acts include detailed depiction of genitals.If creating for the digital NSFW add-on, there are limitations for explicit depictions.We understand this is subjective in nature, and will be as flexible during the creation phase as possible. This consideration has been taken to allow creative liberties while protecting the mods who will be handling shipping.Thank you for your understanding.Q: Will the NSFW digital add-on accept Dead Dove content?
A: This is not a dead dove zine. We don’t judge, we don’t discriminate, and we hope you keep creating!Q: Are there any other content exceptions?

A: That’s great! However we want this zine to really celebrate Heated Rivalry, coming together, and the creation process. Work created for this zine should be new content that you have not already posted. Need inspo? Check out our prompt list!Q: What dimensions does my art piece need to be?
A: Single art pieces will be printed on A5 size paper (5.8"x8.3"), art must have an additional 0.25" bleed on all sides, for a total size of 6.3"x 8.8", and 300dpi. Templates will be provided, and files must be exported in png or pdf form.Q: Can I create more than one piece of art for this zine?
A: There is a maximum of 3 fully rendered single page art pieces, and spreads are allowed. If you choose to do a spread you need to account for the inside bleed that will be cut, or let us know so we can format your work properly.Q: What physical/digital merchandise will this zine be producing?
A: We will have more information on this following the interest check. We were thinking of physical merchandise like making bookmarks, stickers, mini prints, temporary tattoos and possibly keychains, button pins, or standees. Digital merchandise may include wallpapers. Our goal is to keep the packaging as flat as possible to make it more affordable. If you have any ideas, please let us know!Q: I am a writer, will I be assigned a beta reader?
A: All work in this zine will be beta read by mods. If you would like a beta reader to work with, we will offer opportunities to connect with someone who can assist.Q: What will the mods do with the creative works?
A: We’ll only use submitted pieces to create and promote the zine. Creators retain the copyright of their work.Q: Will I be able to post my work when the zine is complete?
A: Absolutely yes! We estimate the zine will be completed and fully shipped by January of 2027. Once we have confirmed everyone has received their orders, art & writing can be posted wherever your heart desires. We will also create a collection on AO3 to celebrate!Q: Will proof/receipt of donation be provided?
A: Absolutely yes again. Upon completion we will ensure our social media will be updated with a screenshot proving donation. We are not for-profit!
